BRiNK Karkloof Road Race 2026

The BRiNK Karkloof Road Race, hosted by Burg Wheelers Cycling Club, takes place from La Petite France (better known as the Karkloof Farmer’s Market, 9 Karkloof Road, Howick) on Sunday 30^th August. This is the perfect time for cyclists to shake off their winter blues and Spring into action for the summer cycling season!
The event offers two race distances, both starting and finishing from La Petite France. The route makes use of the beautiful stretch of tar road between St Johns Village (just outside Howick) to the end of the tar road – one out and back loop comprising just under 40km. The 80km race does a double lap. The rolling terrain and beautiful scenery in the Karkloof Valley make it all the more worthwhile to enjoy seeing it twice !
Burg Wheelers Cycling Club is one of the biggest and oldest cycling clubs in KZN and the only club to host both a road race and a gravel race every year. The club encourages other clubs to support this event and help to grow road cycling in the province.
