Run for Intellectual Disability is a historic fundraising marathon dedicated to empowering learners with Intellectual Disabilities. Organized by the Dagbreek Running Team, this groundbreaking event is Namibia’s first sanctioned marathon created specifically to offer a safe, inclusive, and competitive platform for athletes with Intellectual Disabilities, proving that Disability is not Inability. The event serves as the team’s primary fundraiser, supporting their journey to the Cape Town Marathon 2026 while also contributing to improved school resources. As a fundraising initiative, all registration fees go directly toward the Dagbreek Running Team Fund, helping create lasting opportunities for these remarkable athletes.
