The Lomond ADVENTURE Full Moon Run, taking place on Monday, 16 December 2024, marks the grand finale of the Lomond Adventure Weekend in spectacular fashion. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lomond Wine Estate in Gansbaai, this event offers runners a rare and magical opportunity to experience the estate’s natural beauty under the glow of a full moon. Participants will embark on a night-time trail run, choosing from either a 5km or 10km route, both weaving through fynbos-covered hills, lush vineyards, and along the serene dam shores. The atmosphere will be quiet and peaceful, with only the soft light of the moon and headlamps illuminating the paths ahead. The calm night air, the sound of nature, and the sense of adventure add a mystical quality to this run, making it unlike any daytime race.
